Take the first ferry from San Francisco or Tiburon to enjoy the birds of Angel Island State Park at the peak of breeding season! Expect to see and hear a wide variety of Bay Area birds including woodpeckers, flycatchers, raptors, and more. You'll also learn about the island's unique history and diverse habitats.

Trail Type: The trail is partially paved, and includes dirt sections with uneven surfaces and some moderately steep sections including uneven stairs with no rail.
