Point Reyes National Seashore - Coast Loop Hike

05/09/2026 08:00 AM - 12:00 PM PT

Description

Springtime is beautiful at Point Reyes. Named one of National Audubon Society's best birding hotspots for multiple years, the park and its adjacent waters are a birder's paradise. This five-mile hike will take us through lush riparian habitat, grassland, coastal chaparral, sand dunes and beach. We should have a good variety of birds, even some migrating water birds offshore. Please be in good hiking condition; the final mile will be a climb.
