Event DetailsJoin us to clean the shoreline habitat for Osprey and other waterfront birds along the San Francisco Bay Trail at Meeker Slough and Stege Marsh. Nesting season is beginning for Osprey so this is a critical time for cleanup!

Please bring your water bottle, wear closed-toe shoes, and weather appropriate clothing including dress in layers with long pants and long sleeved shirt. Please bring work/garden gloves, trash picker/tongs and 5 gallon buckets or sturdy large plastic bags if you have any of these items. We will provide these items to those who do not have some or all of them.

Participants must read and agree to waiver. By registering for this event, you indicate that you agree to the Golden Gate Bird Alliance agreement.

Directions: The sign-in table and cleanup site will be at the junction of Meeker Slough and the Bay Trail. The nearest parking is in the Bayside Drive cul-de-sac, where there are 10 parking spaces and also curbside parking available. Take Marina Parkway south from 580 and turn left on Bayside Drive. You may also park in the EBRPD lot at the north end of Rydin Rd, but it is a 1.2 mile walk.
