Behind the Gates: Hayward Shoreline

Maybe you’ve been to Hayward Shoreline, but have you been to the fenced-off area protecting Least Tern nesting sites? Venture beyond those gates for a two-mile walk on a level unpaved road. In past years we’ve seen some great birds: nesting Black Skimmers and Least Terns with a chance for some rare species.

Registration opens at 1pm on Friday, February 28 and closes at 11pm on Thursday, May 15.
