Slow/accessible Birding at Middle Lake, Golden Gate Park (San Francisco)

Date: Friday September 19 – 10:30 a.m. to 12 noon
Description: This is an easygoing birding trip around Middle Lake in Golden Gate Park. We'll most likely see and hear the resident Red Shouldered hawks, Belted Kingfisher, Fall migrants and who knows what else.
The path is smooth and suitable for wheelchairs, with many benches. We will end the trip at a spot where we can sit and listen to whatever birds come our way. There is an accessible bathroom across JFK drive near North Lake. Please contact the trip leader Chris Okon at 415.860.5102 if you have questions or concerns. If you'd like to borrow binoculars, please let the trip leader know by September 15th.

Meet at the Middle Lake parking lot just directly north of South Lake off of Chain of Lakes drive.
