Blake Garden Bird Walk (Kensington)

Date: Tuesday October 6 – 8:30 to 11 a.m.

Description: Join us to experience the change-over of bird species from summer to winter residence. We hope to find Hermit Thrush, American Robin, Yellow-rumped and Townsend's Warblers, Golden-crowned and Fox Sparrow and Ruby-crowned Kinglets. The trails at Blake Garden go up and down on dirt paths. Expect to walk for more than one mile. There are benches throughout the garden and bathrooms are available on the premise.

Directions: Drive up (north) on the Arlington to the flashing yellow lights at the Kensington Library and community church. Turn left onto Rincon Rd. Pull into the parking lot at 70 Rincon Rd., Kensington.

Registration opens Tuesday, September 15 at 1 pm and closes on Monday, October 5 at 11 pm.
