First Friday Birdwalk (Corona Hill)

Description: Beginner bird walk- newcomers emphasized.
Will enjoy spring migration in May on the central California coast. Check the weather forecast and come dress appropriately. Includes a moderately strenuous hike up a set of stairs and downslope.

NOTE : This site features steep terrain with areas of rocky/uneven surfaces including a series of long wooden steps, approximately 250 feet of elevation gain. Erosion has closed parts of the park, so come ready for a two hour hike and pack accordingly! Restrooms are on site but we may be as much as 20 minutes away at times.
Trip Size: 18 participants max
Directions: Meet in the museum parking lot, 199 Museum Way, 94114. Muni line 37 stops within a couple of blocks of the meeting site.
