We will search the lawns, adjacent hill sides, and scrubby grasslands around Sandy Wool Lake for sapsuckers, raptors, and sparrows. Some early migrant warblers are possible. Four species of falcons have been recorded here. A Bald Eagle pair frequent here to hunt, as well as Osprey.  Swainson's Hawk, Golden-crowned Kinglet, and Purple Finch have historically been seen here in March.
