Description: With astonishing volcanic formations, majestic valley oaks, and a resident flock of California Condors, a visit to Pinnacles National Park can be unforgettable. As one of five release sites in western North America for the largest land birds of this continent, Pinnacles National Park will celebrate its 20th year as part of the Condor Recovery Program. Last season there were two Condor nests in the park and one just outside on a private ranch. Two of these attempts were successful.
