Description: Check out one of the best hotspots in San Francisco, with the possibility of spotting up to 60 species, including vireos, flycatchers, warblers, grosbeaks, orioles, tanagers, and buntings. Fort Mason is compact and mostly flat. We'll walk less than a mile mostly on paved trails and in the garden.
Distance: 1.5 mile walk
Trail Type: Most of the walk is flat, on mostly paved walkways, but there is one short steep descent to the waterfront.
Facilities: Public restroom available .25 mile away
Registration will open at 1 pm on Wednesday, February 28 and it will close at 11pm on Monday, April 22.
