Bike and Bird Alameda SF
04/11/2025 08:00 AM - 01:15 PM PT
Description
Come bike along Alameda Island and Bay Farm Island shoreline, hitting several birding hotspots. Last year, we stopped at Seaplane Lagoon, The Alameda Point shoreline, Crab Cove, Crown Memorial State Beach, and Elsie Roemer Bird Sanctuary. We’ll take the ferry (with our bikes) to San Francisco where we will lunch at the Ferry Building before taking the scenic ferry ride back to Alameda Seaplane Lagoon. We will mostly be seeing seabirds, ducks and shorebirds.
Note: Bring $9.40 for the ferry round trip and money to buy lunch at the SF ferry building
