Grasshopper Sparrows at Garin Regional Park

Enjoy the arrival of springtime’s special birds on this mellow walk at Garin Regional Park circling Jordan Pond and ending in a field above to see Grasshopper Sparrows, one of the few North American sparrows that sing two different songs. Other birds we’ll be looking for include Lazuli Bunting, Black-headed Grosbeak, and American and Lesser Goldfinches. We’ll also watch for Golden Eagles soaring overhead, as well as White-tailed Kites

Registration opens at 1pm on Friday, February 28 and closes at 11pm on Thursday, May 1.
