Heron's Head Park (SF)

Volunteers will help with a variety of activities at Heron’s Head Park in southeast SF including removing invasive non-native plants along the Wetlands shoreline, shoreline clean-up/trash removal, and planting native plants/maintaining native plant habitat for local and migrating birds, butterflies.insects and other species.

Bring your water bottle. Wear closed-toe shoes, and weather appropriate clothing including dress in layers with long pants and long sleeved shirt. Bring your own gardening gloves if you like but gloves and tools will also be provided. Restroom on site.

Advance registration required. We also require all participants to read and accept Golden Gate Bird Alliance's VOLUNTEER LIABILITY WAIVER. By registering for this event, you acknowledge your acceptance of the terms of the waiver.
