Salesforce Park Bird Walk
Description
Trip Leader: Thad Mully, TWMULLY@YAHOO.COM
Date: Wednesday, August 7
Description: Please join us in Salesforce Park. We will take a leisurely bird walk through the park and encounter common and not so common year round residents and migrant birds throughout the year. This trip is especially good for beginners as we often have very close views of the birds and can really closely study their distinguishing features. It's also a great place to begin to learn birdsongs. The park is handicapped accessible and restrooms are available. This walk recurs on the first Wednesday of each month. Observant kids of all ages are welcome with adults.
Directions: Directions: Meet in Salesforce Park at the Main Plaza. The rooftop park has several access points. We will cover about 2/3 mile on a flat, paved trail that is ADA-compliant (i.e., wheelchair accessible and stroller-friendly). Restrooms are available on the park level. Bring binoculars if you have them; we’ll also have a few to borrow. Heavy rain cancels.
