Giving Tuesday Field Trip at The Presidio of San Francisco

Description: Give $100, get a field trip, and celebrate Giving Tuesday in the best way possible: with gratitude for San Francisco's extraordinary natural ecology. We will explore the heart of the Presidio, the Tennessee Hollow Watershed from its high point at Inspiration Point down to the outlet at Crissy Lagoon. Along the way you'll learn about native habitat restoration efforts at the Presidio. If you've joined us in the spring for Birdathon, check out this other side of wintering birds. 

We'll start at Inspiration Point and end at Crissy Lagoon. COVID-safe car rides will be provided back to the starting location. We'll walk on mostly unpaved but well graded trails, and down a couple sets of stairs, one without railings. The distance is 2 miles, downhill. The only restrooms will be about an hour into the walk at El Polin Spring.

This event is in support of Giving Tuesday. Registrations will be treated as tax-deductible donations. 

Trip Size: 20 participants max

Directions: Meet at Inspiration Point on Arguello Blvd.

This event will open at 1pm on Friday, November 1 and close at 11pm on Monday, December 2.
