Slow Birding in the Rhododendron Dell, Golden Gate Park (San Francisco)

Date: Wednesday April 16 – 10:30 a.m. to 12:30 p.m

Description: This outing is ideal for people with limited mobility or who simply prefer an easy pace in a beautiful setting.

We will begin with a simple meditation before exploring the smooth and ADA accessible paths in this garden which should be in Spring bloom and attracting several species from Bushtit to Great Horned Owl. If there is time we can visit the Lily Pond.

ADA accessible restrooms are behind the music concourse.

Please let the leader know if you'd like to borrow binoculars.

Trip Size: 11 Participants Max

Directions: Meet at the entrance to the John McLaren Rhododendron Garden in Golden Gate Park.
