Creativity and Birds

Description: All levels of bird and art experience are welcome in this class exploring how to leverage creativity to build a deeper relationship with birds. Write, draw, dance, sing, act, and collage to share what you experience with the birds. In collaboration with the Richmond Art Center, spend two days in Richmond out in the field in and in the studio, and then share your art with class participants. Materials provided, but bring water, lunch and snacks. Be prepared to participate and collaborate in a diverse learning community. Carpooling will be organized and the facilitators will be sensitive to accessibility needs in terms of outing specifics.
Sundays August 10 and 17: 10:30 to 3:30 pm at the Richmond Art Center, 2540 Barrett Ave, Richmond and environs.
Limited to 20 participants.
Price: $240 ($192 for GGBA members, a 20% discount)
Registration opens at 1 pm on Wednesday, May 7 and closes at 11 pm on Saturday, August 9.
