Description: Yosemite Slough (North Shore) is a work is progress, as the salt marsh is being re-established this ebird hotspot (183 species) is a great place for shorebirds and over wintering wintering fowl. The area is a key restoration site, specifically for threatened species such as the California Ridgway's Rail. We will be arriving just past low tide (7.23AM). This part of Candlestick SRA has been cleaned up significantly in the last 2 years. The area has a short, easy trail that runs along the slough, providing good vantage points for viewing wildlife, I'll bring a scope (Note: there are no bathrooms on site).
