Date: Thursday November 13 – 9:30 a.m. to 12:00 p.m.
Description: Miller Knox Regional Shoreline is a SF Bay Area birding hotspot located in the Point Richmond District of Richmond with a storied past and panoramic bay views. Its diverse habitats include: a saltwater lagoon, parkland, a small wooded area and the bay shoreline. We hope to see a wide array of waterbirds, shorebirds and songbirds that make Miller Knox their home.
Beginning birders are welcome!
The terrain is flat and paved in some areas with irregular and rocky terrain in others. Restrooms and water fountains are available in several locations. It can be windy and cold on the water; layered clothing is recommended. If you are a Golden Gate Bird Alliance member and need to borrow binoculars, you may request them here: https://goldengatebirdalliance.org/58026-2/
If you would like us to borrow binoculars for you, please email Derek.
