Martin Luther King Regional Shoreline - Garretson Point (Oakland)

Date: Saturday, February 14 –  11 a.m. to 1 p.m.

Description: We will walk ~0.5 miles out and back from the Garretson Point Staging lot to the viewing platform across Damon Slough to watch the shorebirds come in and feed on the freshly exposed mudflat as the tide recedes. The path is mostly paved and flat and there are restrooms available in the parking lot. 

Limit: (15 people)

Directions: Meet at the Garretson Point Staging Area at the north end of Edgewater Drive in Oakland.

Registration opens on Tuesday January 20 at 1 pm and closes on Thursday February 12 at 11 pm.
