Richmond Flights of Fancy

Registration opens on Wednesday, February 4 at 1pm and closes at 11 pm on Saturday, April 11.

How can we leverage art to build a deeper relationship with birds? Do you investigate your curiosity through creativity? All levels of bird and art experience are welcome in this class, during which we will write, draw, perform, and collage to explore what we experience with the birds. We will spend the day observing birds, doing art exercises, having unstructured time to create and then sharing your art with class participants.
Materials provided, but bring water, lunch and snacks.
Be prepared to participate and collaborate in a diverse learning community. Carpooling will be organized. The outing will be in Richmond and be on paved paths with benches. Participants with questions about accessibility are encouraged to contact the instructors.
Date: Sunday, April 12, 9am to 3pm
Location: to be determined in Richmond, birding in close-by environs.
Limited to 20 participants.
