04/12/2026 08:00 AM - 01:00 PM PT

Description

Registration opens at 1pm on Saturday, February 28 and closes at 11pm on Sunday, April 5.

Join us for a bird/wildflower/butterfly walk on a working ranch in the Capay Valley. Tour oak savannahs and look for ducks, swallows, and other songbirds near the farm pond. Last year a Tricolored Blackbird colony was present. Hopefully they’ll return! A light lunch will be provided. Please note that there will be a lot of walking up and down hills.  Please wear appropriate footwear and brink walking sticks/poles as needed.
