Take the first ferry from San Francisco (at 10:15am) or Tiburon (at 10am) to enjoy the birds of Angel Island State Park at the peak of breeding season! We'll meet on the island at 10:45 am, at the welcome sign where you get off of the ferry. Expect to see and hear a wide variety of Bay Area birds including woodpeckers, flycatchers, raptors, seabirds, and more. You'll also learn about the island's unique history and diverse habitats.

Trail Type: The trail is partially paved, and includes dirt sections with uneven surfaces and some moderately steep sections including uneven stairs with no rail.
Facilities: There are flush toilets, drinking water, and a small cafe at the trail head. There are no facilities along the route.
