Description: Miller Knox Regional Shoreline is a SF Bay Area birding hotspot located in the Point Richmond District of Richmond with a storied past and panoramic bay views. Its diverse habitats include: a saltwater lagoon, parkland, a small wooded area and the bay shoreline. We hope to see a wide array of waterbirds, shorebirds and songbirds that make Miller Knox their home.
Beginning birders are welcome!
The terrain is flat and paved in some areas with irregular and rocky terrain in others.
Restrooms and water fountains are available in several locations. It can be windy and cold on the water; layered clothing is recommended.
20 participants
Directions: Use 900 Dornan Dr for directions to the park. We will meet in the first parking lot on your right after you exit the tunnel across from the Richmond Ramblers Motorcycle Club.
