Walking conditions: The walking surface is varied –surfaced sidewalks, paths, grass, other dirt trail options in Dimond Park, a good dirt path up Sausal Creek. The steepest ups and downs are associated with the parking lot at the very start, where stairs and alternate routes are available.There are rest rooms in Dimond Park, for sure open later, perhaps NOT OPEN at 8:00am. There are places to sit, except walking up the Sausal Creek path. Children are welcome. Please, no dogs.

The car entrance to Dimond Park is at the corner of Hanly Road (from Lyman Road (Fruitvale Avenue)) and El Centro Avenue (from Park Blvd.) The road loops left up to the parking lot.
Walking, we will loop through the grassy area near the Dimond tennis courts, back by the Lions Pool and through the playground area, and then part way up Sausal Creek and back.
