Berkeley Pier and Shorebird Park (Pelicans, Oystercatchers and Hawks)

Date: Wednesday May 27  --  6 pm-7:30 pm

Description: We will be meeting at the Berkeley pier which is just to the right of the parking area and to the left of Skates On the Bay. We will be walking on flat paved trails along the Berkeley bay and venturing into Shorebird Picnic area, Shorebird Beach and the docks of Berkeley Marina. This area has a wide array of birds such as Brown Pelicans, Oystercatchers, Warblers, White-tailed Kites, Blackbirds, rare Calliope Hummingbirds, Herons and many others! Bring water, snacks, binoculars and possibly a jacket just in case it gets chilly. Can’t wait to see you there!

Directions: We will meet at the start of the Berkeley Pier on Seawall Dr & University Ave. You can park on Seawall Dr. using these coordinates in your GPS -
