Description: Don't have time to take a multiple week class?  Then come to this short class to learn the basics of raptor identification and experience the area's fall migration of hawks, falcons, eagles, and vultures.  This  class includes a 2 hour Zoom presentation and a trip to the Marin Headlands to view raptors in flight and to put into practice the ID skills learned in the lecture.

The lecture will focus on the basics so birders of all skill levels are welcomed.

The field trip includes a short but fairly steep climb from the parking lot to the overlook along a well-maintained path with steps. Restrooms are available.  Weather conditions could range from cold and windy to hot, sunny, and shadeless.

Recordings of the lecture presentation will be available to class participants for a limited time.
